KEEP SURCHING, U DONT WANT THIS!!
My title says it, i got this from my first set, kind got screwed over, but seriuosly this hat is horrible, u cant bounce it with the stick, collects dirt like a brand new shoe on a rainy day, its not what u want, TRUST ME, if ur tight on money, buy the PST5 cause anything has to be better than this.

I got these hats as a hand me down from a good friend, and had them for about 7 yrs. they are nice for the price. they have a nice bright sound, but I will be upgrading to some sabian hats soon, great for beginners, OK for intermediates, I'm still going to use these hats on my kit, gonna put a closed hihat attatchment and use for accents. If you're on a budget get these for sure. I have the 13" but I suggest the 14" for rock/metal players.

When I first started playing drums I bought the Paiste 13" Hi-hats in a Paiste cymbal pack that also came with an 18" crash ride, nice pair, anyways that was in december of 2005, and five years later I'm sad to say that they finally need replacing. The sound was what I needed for my styles of music, low tuned drums, and cymbals that would stand out while complementing. They were the perfect pair those Hi-hats, but even with a two inch crack on both cymbals they still sound the same as when I first got them for christmas. Durability is great, Sound is bright open and flexible, I'd definatly recoment the Paiste 13" Hats to anyone who is just starting out and does not know what sound they are looking for yet, or even to the experienced players looking for the perfect brightness.

Ive had these for a little while and to tell you, I had a low budget but these were great for the price they were. They look and sound great in my opinion. My older hi-hats didn't sound anything like these.
