Paiste Sound Technology (PST) adds an affordable line for drummers who like a traditional sound, look and feel. PST7's base is CuSn8 bronze which stems from the legendary 2002 series. The cymbals are lathed by Paiste's Swiss hand craftsmen to achieve their distinctive traditional look and finish. The result of Paiste's precise Swiss manufacturing is a warm and clear overall sound and by offering three weight classes, light/thin, medium and heavy, PST7 covers a wide range of different music styles.

These crashes produce a brilliant, warm tone with a giving feel and a wide range.

    Cymbal has great sustain; a bright sound that is great for all around playing and recording. Great for any setup that needs an extra type of cymbal or extra type of sound for some brightness and high energy. The material seems durable and high quality for the price.

    It's my main crash now and I absolutely love it. Excellent response and tone. Just enough resonating sound for the style I play and cuts through nicely. Makes my whole set sound better.

    It became my go to most used crash for powerful portions of songs instantly after putting it on my kit. It's holds up to my hits (I try not to destroy my kit but we've all been guilty of getting lost in a moment before and this things rides with me in those moments) 10/10 quality

    I'm usually more of a zildjian fan but I got the Paiste pst 7 in a pinch has worked great so far just got done recording with it and played a show. Complements my kit. Great replacement warranty and excellent sound. Considering replacing my cymbals with more of the Paiste brand. Found at Overland Park, Ks.
