I have an affinity for odd sized cymbals. But especially 17" models. Out of the packing box this cymbal looked ready for some serious shredding. Took it on a job with a second line groove; it spanked the accents with a clean and shimmering crash! And coupling it with my Twenty Series 17" crash made for a fat hihat combo, reminiscent of Doug Clifford's set up with CCR. Too cool all around. Thanks for making this all possible, GC. I usually don't purchase cymbals without seeing and touching them; in this case any reservations have become a moot point!

Once again Paiste has impressed me with another perfect cymbal! I just bought the 19" and it is exactly what i was looking for. Medium Thin cymbals are my favorite weight, but this cymbal does not speak quickly or decay quickly, like many thin cymbals. this has a thriving wash, and is just as suitably used as a very washy Jazz ride. i use it mainly for crash riding. it is truly musical. has a lovely low toned crash. It is perfect for mallet rolls also. the bell is very nice and high pitched also. This thing can either purr like a kitten, or ROAR like a lion. it is VERY sensitive and doesn't take much effort to get it roaring, which saves energy!

I got an 18" one of these not long ago, actually about a week ago, and MAN, I love the thing!!! It is LOUD!!! If you are looking for a LOUD cymbal, don't look to Sabian or Zildjian, Paiste has been making cymbals longer, and has more people using them professionally for a reason! Paiste IS and WILL ALWAYS BE the BEST!!! This cymbal is a true testament to Paiste's abilities!!! I seriously can't get enough of this cymbal, it used to be that I would hit my Sabian Vault 16" crash all the time, now it's this!!! GET THIS ONE!!!
