Nicely made adjustable and sturdy enough stand. I am 5'10" and can use it while standing or sitting. If you need a very heavy duty or taller stand - its upper tube can be removed and be installed on top of a sturdy photo-video light stand. The red (burgundy) jacket looks cool, wind resistors are great. I do not have shelf extentions, cannot comment on them. I would prefer locking latches instead of screw-in locks, but I do not think any music stand has them. The only questionable design decision - the elastic tripod storage loops on the desk cover back are both the same size which is strange - I would expect to see a smaller loop to hold the upper column. Also, I suspect that with time they will become loose and stop holding the tripod properly.

  • Perfect for the classical guitarists on the go

I needed a shorter stand, so when I was performing on stage, people would be able to see me and not just the back of a stand. Not only does this stand meet my expectation, the portability and breakdown were a convenience I am happy that I now have.
