The Broadway London 12 room kit is designed for rooms up to 150 sq. ft. (13.9 sq m), or can be combined with other products to treat larger spaces. Ideally suited for studio control rooms and home theaters, these easy to use kits can be a single-box acoustic treatment solution.

The London 12 contains Broadway panels that tackle problems affecting any room, such as primary reflections, flutter echo, standing waves and excessive bass. In addition to acoustic panels, each London 12 room kit includes the corresponding mounting hardware and instructions for easy installation.

Broadway panels are made from high-density 6 lb. per cubic foot fiberglass, offering nearly five times greater absorption than typical low-cost foam alternatives. This means that you get more absorption with less panels, while assuring an even absorption curve throughout the frequency range. The London 12 room kit has 22 panels included.

The London 12 Room Kit includes:
2 Broadband Panels (24"x48"x2") with beveled edges
8 Control Columns (12"x36"x2") with beveled edges
12 Scatter Blocks (12"x12"xs1") with beveled edges
28 Surface Impaler clips for mounting the Control Columns and Scatter Blocks
8 Corner Impaler clips for mounting London Bass Trap panels
Drywall anchors and screws included"

You need more panels than you think. Opt for the bigger London Pack 16

Unbelievable, this product is awesome. I do a radio show and podcasting from my home office and was getting background noise, plus an echo --- these work are super lightweight, easy to install (my 12-year-old daughter and I installed them in a few hours) and work as designed. I am so glad I purchased them!

I ended up buying another one of these. It was originally bought to do a room for a studio setup in a new apartment I moved into. Instead the first one ended up in the living room, it makes listening to movies a lot better and looks really great when setup. Second set when I bought it the packaging was pretty beat up. It had a little bit of a funky smell to it, it had been sitting around for a while. The panels themselves do anyways when they're new but that wasn't the smell. After opening the panels though they had the original new smell. It didn't come with the corner impalers, after dragging the carton up stairs I noticed one of the ends the staples had been ripped open. No big deal, rather than dealing and waiting for new impalers to come through GC I found a company that sold their own impalers for 1/4 of the cost of Primacoustics prices. -1 star because I had to buy corner impalers. The rooms don't sound like caves anymore.

    • Not bad, but not everything you need

First of all, the panels are nice looking, well constructed, and easy to hang. I took a couple of days to hang everything only because I was indecisive about how I wanted to do it. If you have a plan in mind, it should really only take a couple of hours at most. Second, the kit doesn't actually come with bass traps. Like the description says, they are broadband panels. In most square rooms, you'll still need a lot more control over the bass frequency, which will require buying or building true bass traps. I've used the expensive foam in the past and now am using these panels. Aesthetically, the panels look much cleaner and nicer to me. Audibly, I notice a positive difference, but the panels are also covering a larger area than my foam used to, so it's hard to gauge which is truly better. Personally, for a creative space, looks may not be quite as important as functionality, but they still matter if you're going to be spending hours and hours mixing and recording there. I don't regret buying them at all. Just be aware that this isn't everything you'll need!

Just refinished my 10 X12 room above the garage with hardwood floors. Dang! Talk about live?!? The echo had it's own zip code! The bass traps seem to be doing a good job-still moving the subwoofer around. But if you want to tame a room this kit is VERY easy to install and flexible, in terms of included pieces. Only downside is allowing a few days for the funky rubber smell to dissapate. And be careful with the impalers--suckers are sharp! Highly recommend!

This would be a great fit, especially if you're setup has a very sensitive mic. A lot easier to record with to cut back on the background noise.
