This high-quality ProCo SMC0804FBQ StageMASTER audio cable snake is configured with eight XLR mic inputs and four 1/4" TRS returns. It features metal hand-soldered fan connectors and has a cable grip on the box. Color-coded fan shrink makes set-up a breeze. It comes available in 50' or 100' lengths.

    So far so good. I gave five stars as given the cost of this product, this snake is perfect for my needs... which was to clean up cabling and improve efficiency in my home studio. All channels worked fine upon delivery. The Box is nice and sturdy and having the four 1/4" returns is very nice. I would certainly recommend for any cost-conscious permanent installation. Gigging bands or sound guys working multiple venues where the fan end will see constant abuse, connecting and disconnecting may want to spend a little more money on something a little beefier. Then again it hold up just fine in that application too. Just an observation.

    I use this snake/box for weddings that are at venues without built in PAs. Which means it gets used at least twice a month. I use it with a Peavy PV14 and/or Peavy PV8 for live musicians, vocals, officiants, and DJs. All the connections are clearly marked and made with professional quality plugs, wiring, & insulation. The Stage Box is definitely made to withstand the beating that stage boxes take on and off the stage! The 100' snake is plenty of length to get your mixer in a decent monitoring position & still be out of the way. The 8x4 is an ideal piece of equipment for anyone needing to mix a small band or multiple audio source event. It also gives you the added value of 4 monitor sends!

    Good snake to record with Not sure if it`s road worthy. stagebox is kinda light on weight. Seems to have generic connectors which wouldn't hold up to constant connecting and un-connecting. XLR connectors don`t lock into place either
