    This case gets tossed into a truck, banged up, beat up. Tough. My drum looks new. Pros: Recessed strap. Folding handles are great. Room enough to put my bass drum in a soft case. As good or better than other well known brands. No cons. Get one.

    I bought a used PDP 805 kit recently. It has a monster kick drum which is 24x21. I had a tough time finding a case big enough to handle this cannon. I went ahead and ordered the 24x20 Gator case and was pleasantly surprised to find the inside of the case measured 24x24. Quality for the price is excellent!

    I see that this case is 18 x 16. Is 18" the diameter and is 16" the depth or the other way around? I have a drum 18" in diameter and 15" deep and I want to make sure it will fit in this case. thanks!

    18" wide, 16" deep. It will fit.
