This is a solid head. Super easy on the hands... almost soft. I got the 11 inch head for my quinto. When I put it on it was a tight fit, which was expected, but once it was tightened down it fit snug and tuned up perfectly. It sounds great tuned high and low. Remo makes the best synthetic conga heads, no doubt about it.
