Remo Pinstripe Clear Bass Drum Head 22 in.

Description
The Remo Pinstripe Clear bass drum head provides exceptional bass with controlled overtones and solid projection. Made from two 7-mil plies of clear film with an internal muffling ring, this 30" bass drum head dampens unwanted overtones for a focused low-end thump that punches through the mix. The Remo Pinstripe clear bass drum head is ideal for drummers and sound engineers looking to capture a resonant, mic-friendly kick drum sound in both live and studio settings.
Internal Muffling Ring Tames Overtones
The Remo Pinstripe Clear bass drum head features an internal muffling ring that reduces unwanted overtones, enabling a warmer, fuller bass drum tone. By dampening high-frequency overtones, the muffling ring helps produce kick drum sounds with controlled resonance and improved projection. This makes the Remo Pinstripe Clear bass drum head an excellent choice for live shows where controlling bass drum resonance is key to achieving a balanced drum mix.
Two 7-mil Plies for Durability and Tone
Constructed from two 7-mil plies of clear Mylar film, the Remo Pinstripe Clear bass drum head is built to withstand the demands of regular live performances and practice sessions. The two-ply medium-weight construction also contributes to the bass drum head's warm, focused tone by naturally damping some of the drum shell's resonance. This complements the effect of the muffling ring, resulting in kick drum sounds with a balanced blend of resonance, punch and clarity.
30" Size for Versatility
With a diameter of 30", this Remo Pinstripe Clear bass drum head is a popular, versatile size suitable for most standard bass drums. This makes it easy to achieve consistent kick drum tones across different kits, allowing drummers and engineers to dial in preferred sounds that translate well to different acoustic spaces.
Clarity and Projection
Designed to deliver resonant bass drum tones with controlled overtones, the Remo Pinstripe Clear bass drum head produces sounds with exceptional clarity, punch and projection. Its internal muffling ring helps focus the bass drum's low-end thump, enabling kick drum sounds that cut through the mix with power and focus. This combination of resonance and projection makes the Remo Pinstripe Clear bass drum head an ideal choice for drummers and sound engineers looking to capture a robust, mic-friendly kick drum sound.

Fabulous Remo sound. I put on a Falam Slam and added an Ebony front head with 5inch port and it sounds great unmuffled. Extremely happy.

It's a mass produced drum head, made by an international company. I would expect nothing less than what I received in the 15 others I own of the same name and type.

This head sounds good. Simple and it works. I play metal so I want the "click" sound, which is putting pillows touching the heads then turning the beaters around to let the plastic part hit the head. It sounds like a trigger now, and I can't be happier. Just get a beater sticker for the drum head and you'll be set.
