collapse expand iconDescription

Powerstroke 3 FiberSkyn drum heads feature an exclusive lamination process that combines Remo films and synthetic fibers to recreate the vintage sound, look and feel of calfskin. The dark, warm, round tone is highly recommended for traditional jazz, R&B and classic rock drum set applications, as well as for concert snare drums, bass drums and toms.

It also provides an excellent, authentic ethnic drum sound when used on world percussion instruments.

The great, warm sound of a Fiberskyn together with the punch and beef of a Powerstroke 3. Played soft or loud, the sound is consistently great.

As with all PS3's this one is great! A bit thicker than regular Mylar heads, but it really booms

  • Nice for fast, soft toneful playing.

These heads are great for jazz. They exclude that floor tom tone and make a great soft low bass tone. Great for playing fast and completely reduces the need for inside muffling. I would not recomend it as a resonate head though. With it, I would ad a powerstroke IV for a res. Will give it a nice punch also.
