These heads work really good. Not exact feel but really close. Paired with Zildjian Low Volume cymbals I am able to practice in a apartment. Great heads for practice set without worrying about being to loud.

I've played around with electronic kits, mute pads, practice stands, but nothing ever felt right. I played these at the local store and was overly impressed. Paired with Zildjian L80 low volume cymbals I can now practice and hear myself play on drums that still feel like they have standard heads on them. I can play with music in the background or my buddy on guitar low volume to work on things, and yet not annoy my girlfriend who is right below me downstairs. I wouldn't say use these at 1am but for the afternoon drummer or apartment living musicians these are perfect.
