Absolutely, I've owned 4 of these through the years.
It's definitely got It's own tone, the Rickenbacker tone. Clean has got that jangle that Rics are known for. Overdrive has got a thick saucey tone, unlike any other guitar I've played, that is oh so good. It's light weight and easy on the shoulder and when it comes to the left hand it is the easiest guitar I've ever played, the lightest touch frets the string. Everybody always says you either love Rics or you hate them, we'll, I love them! Through the years I've owned 4 different 620s and still own a 6 and a 12 string. Beautiful sounding and beautiful looking guitars. When playing out, guitar geeks will walk past fenders and gibsons to come look at the Rics.

Very midrange-y, neck feels cheap
This is an elegant-looking guitar, but not nearly as bright and jangly-sounding as Ricks are known for being. (My '95 American Standard Strat with stock Alnico Vs, my late-2013 American Special Telecaster with stock CS Texas Specials and my Vintage Blonde Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster with stock Alnico IIIs all surpass it in that department by quite a bit, while each being more distinctive in sound and tone than the Rick 620, no matter how you play with the three tone and two volume knobs on every pickup setting.) The neck just feels cheap and plasticky to me, too, with an odd, rounded feel to the fretboard. I will give it more of a chance, but it's not knocking me dead with either of my Carvin tube amps so far.

I've always wanted to own a Ric. The guitar is beautiful in Jetglo with chrome hardware. It came out of the box with a terrific setup and spot on intonation. It's a small body, light weight, and seems like a shorter neck than usual. It feels really good in my hands and is easy to chord. It definitely has it's own sound, and flipping the toggle offers three distinct tones. Sounds great through my Fender Mustang amp clean, with chorus/delay, and crunch. I won't buy a guitar that doesn't come with a hard case, because it tells me how they value the instrument. The finish, binding, pick guard, and Ric trussrod cover look amazing. Black, chrome, and that rosewood fretboard look fantastic. I'm excited to open the case every day and look at it. I'm thrilled - I own a Rickenbacker!!

For me this guitar fits perfectly. The neck is shaped for my medium hand. Traditional or Power chords are easy and comfortable to fret. Fit and finish are Excellent. Note: Rics are Not plug & play, you will have to dail in your tone/sound on the amp & tweak it with the controls on the guitar. This guitar stays in tune hour after hour. Suggest playing one Before ya buy!
