Sabian 19" AAX X-Treme Chinese

SABIAN

collapse expand iconDescription

The AAXtreme Chinese cymbal's extra-fast and terrifically punchy response is raw, dirty, very tight - almost Kang-like - and super loud for maximum accent.

Like stainless steel, AAX is cool, modern, and extremely efficient. Tap with your finger or thrash with a stick, Auto-Focus Response maximizes sensitivity, equalizes high- and low-pitch levels, and purifies sounds by filtering out conflicting overtones.

  • Extreme vs holy chinas

I bought the holy China and wasn't as happy as I am with the extreme China. Holy China for me was too trashy, the extreme China has the right amount of trash with more shimmer for a smoother sustain. I play hard rock mostly, but also metal, funk, blues, punk, classic rock, and sometimes jazz swing. So I need a China that is versatile and musical in all these applications. Of course, it's all up to how I play it, I just find the extreme China has better qualities that compliment my explosion series crashes. Currently I have all AAX explosion series, 14 hats, 17, 18 x2 crashes, with 20 hh rock ride, the 19 extreme. China fits beautifully. The holy China isn't a bad cymbal. I just think the extreme is better.

I've got the 19 inch version of the China cymbal, and it fits my tastes perfectly. It has a very long sustain, a very dark tone, it's very versatile and it's very trashy, unlike the Zildjian or Paiste China's which have a very metallic sound. I highly recommend this China to any one whose looking for a new piece to their kit!

I was looking for a china that suited my needs for a long time. When I purchased this I didn't know what to expect. But the outcome was very good! It is a VERY loud china. And when I say loud, I mean LOUD. It produces a good sound and I would recommend it to anyone.

So I have been spending sooo much time trying to look for the PERFECT china. And boy did i find it. This china has a nice high crisp but strong striking punch at the same time. i bought the 17" and am very pleased. if you want to hear a band that has this exact china go look up the band "August Burns red" he uses it in there album messengers. He uses the 19" version. i am very happy with my china though. i would reccommend this to every drummer. i infact showed this china to an employee at guitar center and he fell in love and put in his order right after mine. So i would recommend this to everybody. So crisp its heavenly. so thats why i gave it 5 stars. so go look up the band i posted and listen to his china. im in love :)

I love this cymbal! It creates a very loud lovely chinese sound. I own the 15" and the price is worth it. Great for metal music while playing on breakdowns and awesome to hit it matching the snare drum. I can't stop playing this cymbal while I'm just jamming, it's one of my favs now. Must Buy

This is my favorite china in the world. It's durable, has a great sound, and has an awesome finish. I have the 19" and it sounds so bright and amazing and i love the raw power from this china. It also has a sensitive side for quieter genera. Worth every penny
