BUY THIS BASS
I needed a 6 string for the extended range I use in an 18 piece jazz band, and for some Dream Theatre covers my band does. The feel and sound of this bass are phenominal, and the construction is amazing. Do not pass this bass up.

I'm sorry I had to return this bass
I'm sorry the electronics were shot in this bass, so it was returned, nice enough to play as well as feel. I ordered a new one.

So far I've been playing this mostly unplugged because I live a few hours away from the rest of my equipment right now, but on the rare occasion that I get to plug it in, I'm blown away by the sound. The pickups are great, I couldn't go without the 3 band eq and I'm happy that I got that. The neck thru design is gorgeous, as is the rest of it. Seriously couldn't have picked a better six string bass for my first. It is was easier to play than I thought it would, and right out of the box at that. Props to schecter for amazing craftsmanship on this one. I was on the fence about getting this or a similar ibanez and I'm so happy I went with schecter

I am using for recording and the recordings are sounding great. I like the tone and I found the bass easy to play. It stays in tune well and I've made some use of the extra strings in my recordings.

Long story short, this bass is amazing. I found it at my local guitar center when looking at some other basses. This one conquered them all. At first i was a little skeptical because the neck was so wide but im fine. I was looking to get an ltd and im glad i didnt. The tone is great and this thing stays in tune for a really long time. I can move across the neck with ease and i have some extended range. The 3 band EQ lets you really dial in the perfect sound that YOU want. If you asked me i would tell you to BUY THIS BASS!

This bass is absolutely incredible. I have the honey-satin finish; it's gorgeous. The tone is unbelievable and super-adjustable thanks to the 3-band EQ and pan knobs. The bass and mids are especially responsive. Dial in some mids for a very punchy Jaco-esque sound! The neck feels great is very fast and easy to play. With a professional setup this thing sings! I recommend this bass to all players of all experiences but especially to those on a budget. Trust me; for 90% of bass players, you don't need anything nicer than this! I love it and like it better than many more expensive basses I've gotten a hold of! Don't pass this steal up!
