The Seymour Duncan SP90-2 Hot Soapbar Pickup employs extra coil windings and special ceramic magnets to produce more intense output, longer sustain, and more sensitivity. As with all Duncan soapbar pickups, the Hot P-90s have tough phenolic bobbins and adjustable nickel-plated pole pieces.

    This is great pickup for the money. Very buttery and full. I custom drilled a blank jazzmaster cover for this pickup to go into the neck position in my fender jazzmaster classic player. Not only is it one-of-a-kind now but the sound is so versatile and really gave my jazzmaster some more character. Thanks Seymour duncan!! (I have a Seymour duncan sjm-2b in the bridge of the jazzmaster, btw. Always liked Seymour duncan and now will definitely continue to use them in future projects)
