Will mostly use on planes, travelling since they are so small and easy to carry. Sometimes use them for paying guitar thru headphone jack on my amp, but my regular over-the-ear headphones are easier for that.
To much base response

Sounds very distorted with the Strymon Iridium. Turns out that the impedance is to low to work with the pedal. Check the range of your device before buying.

Is the only difference, the in-line mic? Can i still use these as an IEM for playing gigs on drums, keys, and bass? (I'm liking the cable, in particular on this special edition series; my current se215\315 has a thicker cable housing closest to the driver, which never seems to quite lay against my head.)
Yes. They should be able to replace them straight across. I think the limited edition is just them with that mic, but it shouldn't affect anything on it.
