In the GC Q&A, their "Expert Gear Advisor" promises the Sire S5 comes with locking tuners. Mine did not, which in of itself is not a deal breaker, just a credibility issue needing correction. Although the fretboard edges are rounded as advertised, there is still fret sprout that needs filing, as well as a set up.The playability is on par with Strats double in price, as well as high quality Alnico 5 pick ups.
