collapse expand iconDescription

A tip of the hat to the large-headstock Strat models produced in the 1970s, the Classic Vibe '70s Stratocaster creates incredible tone, courtesy of a trio of Fender-designed alnico single-coil pickups. Player-friendly features include a slim and comfortable C-shaped neck profile with an easy-playing 9.5"-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, as well as a vintage-style tremolo system for expressive string bending effects. This throwback Squier model also features 1970s-inspired headstock markings, nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tinted gloss neck finish for an old-school aesthetic vibe.

A case is sold separately.

Returned a 50s classic vibe that was supposed to be white blonde but turned out to look pink when I got it. Thanks to the team at Fairview Heights guitar center I got this in Olympic white and I'm much happier.

Great overall guitar for the price. Solid sound, overall decent setup in terms of action and neck relief. Frets were a little rough and needed polishing, but still playable.

I can't lay down the big bucks for the big names, Thankyou Squier for the 70's Classic Vibe, I know people want to down these guitars for various reasons, some valid not all.Made in China or Indonesia, SO WHAT,there human beings like you and me, and from what I see, they are conscientious craftsman. I am pleased beyond my expectations. The headstock on this 70's seems to give it such incredible sustain, resonance, and tone compared to my 60's cv,when unplugged so think about that when plugged in, wow!I have a black 70's and lake placid blue 60's, again there both very satisfying professional feeling instruments.

  • I might buy this product again.

Just needs a better set up. Need to adjust neck and the Fret buzz on the low E has been hard to eliminate.

  • Probably the best deal in guitars today!

Best value available in a Strat! I own a US Standard, a Mexican Strat, and now this Classic Vibe 70s. This guitar is easily as good as the Mexi possibly better! If you're looking for a Strat on a budget this the way to go!!

On the Fender website, it clearly specifies that the wood for the body of this guitar is "Soft Maple". On this website, it is saying it is "Poplar". Is there a mistake? Which one should I order off of? How do I even know these are credible descriptions?
