What a Beauty!

I was in the store to order the Surf Green Sonic P when I saw this sexy thing hanging on the wall. My thoughts were: "Please play as good as you look. Please, oh please, oh please..." I'm a sucker for a short-scale and I was not disappointed. The Tahitian Coral is much lighter in person and is a bit more pink while the one in the photos looks more orange. I like the tuning machines on this version much more than the Squier Affinity Broncos and the neck feels great if you're into the satin-type finish. I walked out the door with the floor model - it's the only one they had so I'm not exactly sure how it plays straight out of the box. The stock strings are decent, though I'm thinking of switching to tapes and I lowered the action a bit to get a little more spank out of it. This isn't my main bass so I don't expect to do any mods. Would be great for a beginner or a guitar player looking to get something a little more comfortable to play - not a challenge to reach and hold the low F. I'd have another if they come out with more colors that I like.

Good product. Bad condition.

The model is nice. When I got it home I realized that GC sold me a bass with a broken machine head. Also I found that two set screws on the bridge were missing. No set-up what so ever. I'm not happy and I may not be back.

I saw this bass in blue in GC and played it a little. After I returned to GC 2 more times to play it again, I knew I liked it enough to buy it. Then I saw pictures of the white one and liked it even better. GC had it in stock, so it came home with me. This bass is easy to play, with a fast, thin neck and decent balance. Because it's easy, it's fun. What's interesting is that I played the previous generation Bronco bass but didn't like it. This new Sonic series Bronco is quite different: much more comfortable to play and easier to tune and set up.

  • Nice thin neck, light weight, easy to play, gorgeous color

I wasn't planning to buy another bass, but after playing this Sonic Bronco I had to have it. The neck is nice and thin and it's relatively light at just under 7.5lb. Setup was good from the factory; I just loosened the truss rod a bit and lowered the strings. The QC was great with no fret sprout whatsoever, a well-fit neck pocket, all the screws in straight, and everything tight. Unlike my other basses, it has zero noise (other than the tiny bit of single-coil pickup hum) so it seems to be shielded well. The bass balances well and I like the growly sound from the pickup. The white model looked gorgeous in pictures, and didn't disappoint in real-life. I love the way this bass looks and plays.

  • I would definitely buy this guitar again

I use the guitar for Spanish music. It sounds great when slapping the strings. Definitely a great buy and have recommended it to friends who play similar type of music. I honestly do not have any bad experiences with it so far.

  • A lot of bass for a small amount of money

Had to order since my local GC did not have in stock. Needed a bit of set up (truss rod, string height). I have small hands so this scale length is perfect for me. Sounds great for playing and recording. Have recorded direct and into amp sims, great sound either way + thru Rumble amp

Can you replace the white pick guard with another color(I noticed they have a limited edition bronco that's blue with a black pick guard).
