The finish on these models are incredible! For the price went for blue one. The had a burst one that was also with an amazing acrylic finish. The only downside is I wish they had lock in tuners and better floating bridge. This guitar plays smooth with a C neck with a easy to play fret board. It's feels close to EVH wolf gang guitars. I switched out the strings and added clear volume knob to give it an extra flair. I'll probably drop in new pickups but the stock ones aren't too bad out of the box. I will say this guitar turn heads for sure and looks a lot more expensive than it really it's. From an aesthetic standpoint this is 10/10. Good for newbies and professionals. I wish they used stainless steel frets but it's good enough. I would highly recommend this if you don't want to spend a few grand on a music man.

IT depends on if it's a finish issue. Some guitars that have more of a hand rubbed finish typically sort themselves out by obsorbing the oils from your hand as you play making it smoother and easier to play on.
