I've had many mouth and sinus related surgeries which have greatly affected the way I play. This pipe shaped harmonica has made it possible to play again with less pain as I don't have to close my lips as close together as I do with a traditional shaped harmonica. It plays and sounds beautiful. I reccomend it for anyone who is trying to play after mouth or face trauma or surgeries.

I can't tell you where "humming" comes into the picture, but I took a chance and bought one of these. Basically a harmonic without its covers, inside a "pipe organ" kind of tube. It makes for a unique sound, nice and loud, and with both ends open you can shape notes with either hand or both. Can get some interesting effects when pulling a note, blocking all the air in, for example. Its a totally different feel, but fits into your hand nicely. Perhaps too expensive to get a set, but treat yourself and get a G or D - you'll enjoy playing it and playing with it.

Is the pipe harmonica available in key A? Also are there any videos so I can hear the sound?
