The new Suzuki Humming, Deluxe Tremolo Harmonica is a superb example of state of the art technology that produces a beautiful old world sound. Tremolo harmonicas are diatonic models constructed with double holes, each containing two reeds tuned to the same note. Each reed is tuned slightly higher than the other and when played together, this slight difference in tuning creates a beautiful vibrato or tremolo sound. "C" positions are marked on the comb for easy reference during performances. Many different kinds of gospel and old world music sound wonderful using tremolo style harmonicas. This one just makes them sound that much better. Comes with carrying case.

I write and play blues and ballads accompanied by guitar and harmonica. This is the finest harmonica I've ever known. The multi-octave feature allows for easy melody and improvisation, as well as interesting, non-repetitive (octave) transitions, but the minor key limits the harp's usability to the minor key.

  • Yes, will probably get several more in different keys....

Great purchase - easy to play, fine sound, very responsive....just breathe. I play mostly church hymns for personal gratification, and this harp is great for that. Imagine it would be a great choice for folk music also. I have several Suzuki's and I like them all - can't go wrong in my opinion. GUITAR CENTER is a great place to deal with....friendly, helpful, professional.

I bought this to use for folk music gigs. Although it is fairly well made, I was disappointed by the tinny, "tweety" tone. For the high price I expected something with a richer, fuller tone.

The Suzuki Humming Tremolo harp has a beautiful truly "haunting" sound. It is very well made and tight so that even though you are always playing at least two reeds (as with all tremolo harps) you don't run out of air on either blow or draw notes. I like it so well that I am ordering another in Am.

Do you have readily available a Suzuki tremolo harmonica ?
Which is more common or more popular: key of C or Key of G?

We currently have the G in stock, which is probably the more common of the keys. It would either be that or C. one isn't easier to play than the other, it's just in a different key.
