My dad this for me as a birthday present. (Natural Finish) I've had it for several years now and still love it. I don't plan on selling this anytime soon I am still surprised that is holds a good value for sell price. Worth it!

  • One of the best 12 strings for the price, but a couple flaws

I bought this guitar after comparing it in the store to similary priced 12 strings from Martin, Taylor and Breedlove. The Takamine was clearly the best in sound and even moreso in playability. For as 12 string it is very easy to play. There are two areas where this guitar stumbles a bit. One is the tuners. They're cheap and have a lot of play. Once it's in tune, though, the guitar stays in tune pretty well. The other thing is fret sprout. I fixed mine pretty easily with a file, but hopefully they've improved on this since I got my guitar six years ago. But overall this is a great guitar. Don't let those relatively minor things stop you from buying it. For the price, I think it's the best out there. It's my most played guitar I've ever owned and it turned me into a dedicated 12 string player.

  • So far I love it.

My wife and I play music for our local church choir. The 12 string adds a full rich tone.

  • I will buy again if something happens to this one

I took a chance on an open box - not even a photo - but this guitar is beautiful and I have yet to find out why it was considered scratch and dent. The tone and action are unsurpassed. I'm absolutely thrilled with it and now understand why all of its ratings are 5 star. I pastor a couple of small churches and those congregations are thrilled too!!! Thank you Musician's Friend!

it does not. Most Jumbo cases will fit it, but to get the actual case designed for it we would have to special order it.
