Improves tone. Most notable, pun intended each note is cleaner, and crisper ( more attack )

After opening the package I was a bit skeptical as I didn't see or feel much difference between the stock Epiphone Tune-o-Matic verses the TonePro but after installation I was VERY happy with the purchase. The Epiphone Les Paul now sounds more musical, louder, clearer. I was able to tune up very quickly using harmonics where before I needed a tuner because the harmonics were not as loud or would not ring long enough. The price seemed high until I heard my "new" guitar. This is truly a great investment.
