They really help mute the sound. My grandson can practice while we're downstairs. We can hear it where it's not annoying.

bought two sets; they work as designed. no more no less

It's not bad for what it is. Can't play fast, or the mute pads will fly off of the toms. And the mute for the bass drum doesn't work, if you use a double kick pedal. But hey, for practice it works until you can grab a better product. I'd still recommend this if you want to buy it.

so usefull i love this and its supper cheap for a drum set

Celso at the Wichita store recommended these to me after I told him I had been searching high and low for a cheap kit to install silent heads and cymbals on for quiet practice. He saved me a fortune by pointing me this way, as it allows me to use the kit I already have instead of needing two separate ones! Highly recommend.

I bought these for my son who plays the drums in the basement which is right below my home office. they dampen the sound enough where I can still talk on the phone for work and we can watch TV in the evenings while he's playing. Yes, we still hear them but it dampens them enough where we aren't trying to talk over them.
