    We use these and the m182s in marching band front ensemble. Some of the m184s have quickly fallen apart. I think some weren't wrapped well, because it doesn't take much use for the yarn to slide off of the mallet. this has cause a lot of imbalance in the mallet, as one side has more yarn the other. Some of the yarn has fallen off completely. It hasn't broken like some other yarn does, but this is worse. The mallets that aren't falling apart work great.
