VicKick Beaters are available in felt, fleece or wood models, each providing distinct and appropriate levels of articulation, all while achieving an enhanced low-end sound. Within the VicKick series, both the felt and wood beaters feature a unique dual striking position.

These radial-style heads are available in two models. First, a medium-hard premium felt head creates clear articulation with a full low-end sound. Dual orientation offers multiple sound and feel options. A fantastic general beater for all musical styles!

    The Vic Kick wood beater RULES. Its got a great balance of weight, not too heavy and not too light. I prefer to use in the "flat" position as the attack is super pronounced but also pulls out a great deal of low end. Also in this position, the pedal feels easier to play, dare I say faster even. For double bass playing, especially on direct drive pedals, these things are super articulate and feel great during long stretches of double bass while also making your kick drum heard. I also appreciate that the surface is "raw" and not painted or finished in a gloss as it will not stick to the kick drum head or impact patch. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a solid, no-nonsense, great feeling, and SOUNDING bass drum beater.

    I found them to be of excellent weight they are very fast and very punchy which I look for and love in a bass drum sound
