collapse expand iconDescription

The Arius YDP-165 delivers an immersive playing experience for pianists of all levels. With 88 graded hammer-weighted keys, it authentically reproduces the touch and tone of an acoustic grand piano. The Smart Pianist app places intuitive control at your fingertips, analyzing the chords and tempo of your favorite songs to produce accompaniment charts for learning and play along.

CFX Stereo Sampling for Concert Grand Realism

Yamaha's renowned CFX concert grand piano sound engine powers the YDP-165, faithfully capturing the depth and nuance of the legendary CFX grand piano. From the clarity of the high notes to the richness of the bass tones, the multi-dimensional sound will inspire your creativity.

88 Graded Hammer Keys Provide Authentic Touch

With 88 graded hammer-weighted keys, the YDP-165 delivers the responsive feel of an acoustic grand piano. The synthetic ebony and ivory key tops absorb moisture and prevent slipping for confident control. From virtuosic passages to the subtlest nuances, you'll feel a seamless connection between your fingers and the music.

Smart Pianist App Puts Control at Your Fingertips

The Smart Pianist app provides an intuitive interface to configure voices, record performances and access in-depth tutorials. Song analysis technology generates chord charts for your favorite songs, allowing you to learn and play along. With the power of Smart Pianist, you can focus on your craft rather than navigating complex menus.

Authentic Pedals and Resonance for Expressiveness

Three adjustable pedals—soft, sostenuto and sustain—provide precise control over sustain and expressiveness. Virtual Resonance Modeling simulates the rich harmonic resonance of an acoustic grand piano, allowing notes to resonate naturally with one another for a full, complex tone. With half-damper pedal control, you can achieve infinite variations of sustain for subtlety and nuance.

Back into piano after many years. We (my wife and I) wanted an instrument that was always in tune and easy to move around but had excellent sound quality and a grand action. This piano is that and more. We are very happy with our purchase. It exceeded our expectations.

It is for personal pleasure. We've never been very good at the piano, and after not playing for several (many) years, it is nice to have it here. Even my wife has started playing on it again too!

Music quality is great, both on the headset and speakers. Unfortunately keys are plastic and you can immediately tell the difference. Actions are too soft and do not have any inertia, making it feel significantly different than an acoustic piano. However, it is a good product for the price range.
