Disappointing

I realize there's no such thing as a perfectly tuned guitar, but the high-height of the fret wire is such that the moment I press on a string, the note goes sharp. Some areas worst than others. Have tried everything to fix it, but, the only way to avoid it to barely touch a string.

I am interested in buying my first electric guitar. Based on research and reviews on this site I really like Yamaha Pacifica guitars. I am a beginner who's been playing for about 7 months. My question is what is the difference between the PAC 311 and this PAC 212VFM. These units are at the price point I would like to pay for. Thank you
