I use the Revstar RSP20 for R&B, neo-soul, and jazzy playing, and it excels in tone and playability. Straight out of the case, it was set up well enough to play immediately, which isn't always the case with other guitars. The stainless steel frets are smooth and durable, and the neck is very comfortable for long sessions. The tone is versatile, with warm and articulate humbuckers that sound great clean or with gain. The Focus Switch adds punch, expanding the tonal palette. It pairs perfectly with my Fender Ultra Luxe Strat, offering a different flavor of premium quality. The Sunset Burst finish is stunning in person, with an elegant, refined look. This guitar is well-built, and aside from possibly lowering the action a bit and swapping to preferred strings, it doesn't need much tweaking. The included hard case is solid and looks great, adding to the overall premium experience. #sweepstakes

I can't believe how much quality and how many features are in this guitar. This is my go to guitar for gigs and recording. The boost function on the tone nob is a subtle and very useful feature. I have smallish hands, the neck feels great from the nut to the joint at the body. The subtle satin finish on the back of the neck is also an excellent feature. As the ads say, pros provided input and Yamaha used their expertise to create 100% professional instruments at very reasonable prices.

Very happy with 2 previous Yamaha purchases (A5R and Sa2200) that caused me to look at and then love this guitar.

I wanted the 24.75 scale length and Humbuckers as my electrics are single coil. I didn't want to pay the high prices for a Gibson as I feel their QA is not what it use to be. This guitar made is Japan and has excellent quality as all other instruments I bought made in Japan. Big item on the list is: tone, tone, tone and I like it.
