    Avedis Zildjian Company Warranty Statement

    As of October 1, 2009, all Zildjian Cymbals are guaranteed against manufacturer's defects for two (2) years from the date of original purchase.
    For warranty claims outside the U.S., contact your local Zildjian distributor. Click here for the international distributor locator.
    Warranty Process
    Cymbals that show factory defects within two years of their original purchase are eligible for examination at our factory. Zildjian experts will evaluate the damage and issue a replacement cymbal, unless it appears the damage is related to improper use or care.

    If you believe your cymbal has a factory defect:
    1. Contact Zildjian to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#), via telephone: 781-871-2200.
    2. Indicate the location of the damage on the cymbal with a piece of tape.
    3. Make a photocopy of your original numbered and dated sales receipt.
    4. Carefully package your cymbal. Include your RA# and the photocopy of your sales receipt in the box.
    5. Ship the package to:

    Norwell, MA 02061

    A Cymbal will not be replaced if:
    1. It has been misplayed, dropped, played with excessive force or treated abusively.
    2. The center hole is worn due to improper stand set-up or abusive play.
    3. The cymbal was bought second-hand or used in a lease program.
    4. The cymbal has previously been replaced by Zildjian.
    5. More than two years have passed since the cymbal was purchased.

    Warranty Notes:
    • Cost of shipping a damaged cymbal to Zildjian is the customers responsibility.
    • Factory evaluations take approximately 4 - 6 weeks.
    • Cymbals that do not meet the warranty guidelines will be returned to customer.
    • Cost of shipping a replacement or damaged cymbal back to the customer will be covered by Zildjian.

    22 inch A custom Ping Ride

    Great for hard playing drummers or soft playing drummers. This cymbal has such a great sound. A nice bright sound that doesnt take to long to decay, played as a ride or a crash this cymbal has great definitive sound to each hit. The bell has a nice cutting sound with a wide range sweet spot. This cymbal is at high recommendation by me.

    I would not recommend this propduct

    It looks great! but in my opinion this ride doesn't sound anything like a Ping Ride used to sound so I'm not sure it should be labelled a Ping Ride. It also builds up a lot of overtones. I wanted to exchange it or just get Zildjian credit towards another purchase but they wouldn't let me because all sales are final if you buy from the website. So this is the last time I am going to use the website shop. If all cymbals are different how can you verify you like a cymbal unless you try it at least once for a few minutes? Rides are very specific they should let customers return or exchange Rides.

      I have an old Avedis 22" Ride I bought in the early 80's which still sounds great, this one is much higher pitched and has just as good stick definition, probably cuts through a little better in louder applications.

      This was the best choice I have made in getting a cymbal, it is durable and has a very bright sound. Also, it's very shiny! I would recommend this cymbal for anyone who wants a unique sound in their collection.

      I purchased this cymbal a few days ago, and i'm loving it. I got it at my Guitar Center. For metal it sounds so beautiful i can't wait to use it more.
