20" K CUSTOM DARK RIDE

Zildjian Drum Set Cymbals 101

22" K CUSTOM DARK RIDE

Description
Zildjian is proud to offer the K Custom Dark Ride Cymbal 22", a handcrafted ride cymbal designed for drummers seeking a dynamic and expressive sound. Part of Zildjian's K Custom series, this 22" ride cymbal produces full-bodied tones with a dry and dark character. Its traditional finish allows the K Custom Dark Ride to complement any drum set visually and sonically. This versatile ride cymbal is suitable for all musical genres, from jazz to rock to world music. It provides excellent stick definition while also offering trashy crash qualities when needed. The Zildjian K Custom Dark Ride Cymbal 22" brings life to your drum set with its rich, complex sound.
Dark, Warm Undertones With Stellar Stick Response
The K Custom Dark Ride Cymbal 22" has a dry, full stick sound with warm, dark undertones. It offers stellar stick response, allowing drummers to articulate rhythms and accents with ease. The K Custom series is specially designed to provide more volume and cut than traditional K Zildjians, with a quick attack and controlled decay.
Versatile Trashy Crash Qualities
While primarily functioning as a ride cymbal, the K Custom Dark Ride also possesses trashy crash qualities when struck forcefully at the edge. This versatility allows drummers to accent phrases or transition between ride and crash sounds smoothly. The K Custom Dark Ride's crash sound is trashy yet tightly focused, blending in well with its main ride tone.
Handcrafted Quality and Tradition
Like all Zildjian cymbals, the K Custom Dark Ride is handcrafted in the Zildjian cymbal foundry using techniques developed by Avedis Zildjian nearly 400 years ago. This time-honored process results in a musical instrument of the highest quality and tonal complexity. The K Custom Dark Ride Cymbal 22" continues the Zildjian tradition of excellence and innovation.

I bought this product to complete my hybrid electric/acoustic setup for playing pop and rock. The K custom dark series are incredibly rich but distinct in tone. Guitar Centre couldn't have been more helpful shipping this to Manhattan with a days notice too.

Killer ride to complete my K's

I have been switching my cymbal setup from Sabian HHX, and my ride since it came out was a Neil Peart Paragon and I finally decided to check out a "K" ride to go along with the rest of my set up that I had switched out a few years ago to all K's but left the Paragon....I've only had this new ride for a little over a week now and just love all the different levels I can pull out of this beautiful looking cymbal. The bell may need a little more kick to it, but my wife says her ears don't bleed like they used too. Definitely one of the best rides out for the price and you can't go wrong with any Zildjian K....Period
I would recommend to buy this cymbals
